Chương trình TOEIC®?
TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) là chương trình kiểm tra và xây dựng tiêu chuẩn Anh ngữ trong môi trường giao tiếp và làm việc quốc tế. TOEIC chỉ đánh giá khả năng sử dụng tiếng Anh và không đòi hỏi vốn từ vựng hay kiến thức chuyên ngành. Kết quả đánh giá của TOEIC được công nhận rộng rãi trên toàn thế giới.

Chương trình TOEIC được sử dụng rộng rãi trong các lĩnh vực sau
1) Đối với các công ty và tổ chức
• Tiêu chuẩn hoá trình độ Anh ngữ cho từng vị trí công việc. - Kiểm tra trình độ tiếng Anh của nhân viên.
• Điểm TOEIC được coi là một trong những tiêu trí để đưa ra những quyết định về nhân sự như: tuyển dụng, đề bạt và sắp xếp cán bộ.
• Lựa chọn nhân viên tham gia các khoá đào tạo bằng tiếng Anh hay làm việc tại nước ngoài.
• Đánh giá hiệu quả của những khoá học tiếng Anh nâng cao cho nhân viên.
2) Đối với các cá nhân
• Kiểm định trình độ sử dụng tiếng Anh của bản thân.
• Tìm kiếm việc làm.
• Đề ra kế hoạch và mục tiêu khi học tiếng Anh.
3) Đối với các trường học và cơ sở đào tạo ngoại ngữ
• Sắp xếp học viên vào các lớp học phù hợp.
• Theo dõi sự tiến bộ của học viên.
• Đánh giá hiệu quả của những khoá học tiếng Anh.

On the basis of a report that one of the aisles was blocked and therefore presented a safety hazard, I did an inspection in the technical area. The reported blockage was not located.

Outside the cutting room, though, several pallets of lumber have been stored in the aisle. Although this is not a serious issue (but definetely an annoyance), it could easily be resolved by allocating about 150 square feet of storage to the technical department.

I have already talked with Jeremy, the storage manager, and he assured me the space could be arranged.

Không hiểu TOEIC có sự thay đổi áp dụng từ khi nào. Nhưng trên thực tế, hiện tại cấu trúc bài thi của TOEIC vẫn là:

I. NGHE HIỂU: 100 câu hỏi trong vòng 45 phút
1. Phần 1: Câu hỏi hình ảnh (Photographs): 20 câu
2. Phần 2: Hỏi đáp (Question-response): 30 câu
3.Phần 3: Hội thoại ngắn (Short conversations): 30 câu
4. Phần 4: Bài phát biểu ngắn (Short talks): 20 câu

II. ĐỌC HIỂU: 100 câu hỏi trong vòng 75 phút
1. Phần 5: Hoàn thành câu (Incomplete sentences): 40 câu
2. Phần 6: Phát hiện lỗi (Error recognition): 20 câu
3. Phần 7: Đọc hiểu (Reading comprehension): 40 câu

Đối với bài nghe, chỉ được nghe một lần duy nhất, và nghe liên tục. Giữa bài nghe và bài đọc không có thời gian nghỉ. Thời gian làm bài liên tục trong vòng 2h, thí sinh không được ra ngoài.

Lưu ý khi đi thi TOEIC, bạn chỉ được mang theo chứng minh thư vào phòng thi mà không được mang bất cứ cái gì khác, kể cả bút chì (sẽ dùng bút chì có sẵn ở trên bàn). Nhân viên sẽ kiểm tra an ninh từng người trước khi vào phòng thi. Thời gian làm thủ tục ban đầu như được các cán bộ giám sát thi của TOEIC hướng dẫn điền thông tin cá nhân, các thủ tục khác khoảng 30 phút.


@ lo lem buong binh: Bạn muốn thi TOEIC thì phải xem mục đích là gì, chứ không phải là ngành của bạn không cần, mục đích của thi TOEIC là:
- đánh giá trình độ sử dụng tiếng Anh hiện tại
- đáp ứng yêu cầu của một vị trí công tác mới
- nâng cao giá trị văn bằng
- theo dõi quá trình tiến bộ về Anh ngữ
- đề ra mục tiêu học tập
- thu hút sự quan tâm của Nhà tuyển dụng

Có một số công ty, chứng chỉ TOEIC là bắt buộc cho đầu vào, có thể công ty sẽ tổ chức thi đối với những người chưa có chứng chỉ. Tuy nhiên, chứng chỉ TOEIC chỉ có giá trị trong vòng 2 năm, vì vậy, nếu chưa thực sự cần thiết thì bạn nên bắt đầu từ việc ôn tập để đến khi thi đạt được kết quả cao nhất. Chúc bạn thành công!

Nhưng hôm nào rảnh bác cứ post bài lên cháu sẽ cố gắng làm hết. Tuy không giỏi nhưng rất thích học anh văn. Hihi
Bác ơi đúng là có thay đổi về cấu trúc thi rồi. Hôm trước cháu ghi nhầm, hôm nay cháu xin đính chính ở phần trên ạ. (Nguồn lấy từ sách Toeic mới phát hành đấy ạ. Chẳng là cháu định đi học nên mơi biết )

@ oanhho: có thể bạn nói đúng, nhưng thay đổi cấu trúc của bài thi TOEIC hiện tại vẫn chưa áp dụng trong bài thi, vì bài thi cách đây một tuần mà tôi cập nhật vẫn là theo cấu trúc cũ.

2. (B) The article the indicates that the supertive hardest should be used. (A) hardly is an adverb. (C) Harder is the comparative form, (D) Hard is the adjective form.

3. (A) A prospectus is a formal discription of a proposed business venture. (B) Prosecution implies legal action, (C) A prosthesis is an artificial device to replace a body part. (D) Prosperity means wealth or success.

4. (B) The adverb probably modifies the verb need. (A) The verb may could replace will; however maybe cannot follow the verb will. (C) Possible is an adjective, and the adverb from is needed. (D) If Eventually is used, then a specific time frame, by week’s end, cannot be used.

5. (C) The adjective Admissible follows the verb to be and describes what can be allowed in a court or law. (A) and (D) Admission and Admittance are noun forms. (B) Admit is the verb form.

6. (D) The present perfect tense follows a clause beginning with ever since. (A) Didn’t go is the negative form of the past tense. (B) Weren’t going is the past progressive tense. (C) A negative from needs to be used with Anywhere, and Went is the simple past tense.

7. (A) The past perfect is used in the if-clause, when the result clause uses would plus perfect infinitive. (B) Have not changed is the present perfect. (C) and (D) progressive tense is not used to describe a single action in the past.

8. (B) The verb passing is an abbreviation of the relative clause who were passing.

9. (D) The verb were refers to the plural noun Discoveries.

10. (D) So is a conjunction introducing an explanatory phrase.

P/S: Tìm ra lỗi sai từ những từ/cụm từ được gạch chân ở các câu trên, trong sách có theo các thứ tự A, B, C, D, nhưng vì ở đây không viết được như vậy nên chúng ta cứ quy định A, B, C, D theo thứ tự gạch chân trong câu.
