Having recently secured a project within the Power sector, we are seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer to lead the team in the structural and civil design of a power plant. The work includes foundation, civil, structural steel and building design, associated with the main power block as well as ancillary plant.
Reporting to the Energy Leader based in Hanoi, you will bring engineering design skills to the team, and coordinate the project through strong project management and leadership principles. You will also provide mentoring and guidance to more junior Vietnamese team members.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification, with a strong background in Civil and Structural projects and design. You will also display outstanding communication skills, proven problem solving ability and work well by yourself, as part of a team and as a leader when required. Experience in Power Station work is not essential but work in a heavy industrial industry would be an advantage.
Vietnamese language skills would be an advantage but is not essential, however experience in working within the region would be well regarded.
